Vacation Rental Protection Plan
To make your stay as worry-free as possible, Vacation Homes Destin has partnered with Travel Guard International to offer our guests Travel Guard Vacation Insurance Protection. The plan protects your travel investment should you need to cancel your trip for covered reasons prior to departure or if other covered unforeseen circumstances arise during your trip. Coverage includes (but is not limited to) trip cancellation and interruption benefits, medical and evacuation benefits, 24-hour emergency travel assistance, travel delay, and baggage delay.
Travel Insurance can be purchased for a small fee of 7% of your total stay. The coverage goes into effect when the premium is paid. Guests who initially decline travel protection can elect to purchase the insurance up to the date the final rental payment is made. Guests making new reservations less than 60 days prior to arrival may elect to purchase travel insurance as long as they do it at the time of booking and not less than 14 days prior to arrival. This plan does not include stays of 30 days or longer.
Please be aware if you decline insurance protection that no refunds will be available for unforeseen developments such as illnesses, mandatory hurricane evacuations and the like; therefore, your trip investment could be lost.
